Additionally, Dr. Bawumia called for coordinated actions to improve the standard of living for Ghanaians in general.
“We must put forth extra effort to reduce the load that we carried into 2023. In January of this year, the rate of inflation was 56.3%. As of right now, November’s rate is 26.4%. A notable decline, and inflation has also decreased,” Dr. Bawumia stated.
Nonetheless, the Vice President acknowledged the serious difficulties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, which had an effect on both Ghana’s economy and the global community.
“We already know that the post-Covid-19 era is still one of the most challenging periods in global history, and Ghana is not an exception. Many nations are still getting over the economic and social upheaval the pandemic caused. We can only give thanks to God Almighty for how far he has brought us as a party in power during such a trying time in our world history, Dr. Bawumia stated.
