“Today if you do Azonto and you add one or two things to it, somebody will say it’s Amapiano, but Amapiano is something which is already South African,” the Sweet Mistake crooner remarked.

Even with the similarities, Samini emphasized the uniqueness of Ghanaian music, saying, “Amapiano will always be South African, so even though everyone tried with Azonto, in the end, you will associate it with Ghana.”
