Ministers, specialists, and researchers from CICC member nations convened for the discourse in order to exchange expertise, talk about successes, and pinpoint areas in need of research and development in the cashew sector.
Bryan Acheampong, the Minister of Food and Agriculture, clarified that it would raise awareness for small and medium-sized cashew processors and boost the rate of consumption of cashew goods.
The conference’s hosting by Ghana is a “testament” to the government’s dedication to the growth of the cashew business, he said. It would also be a great chance to showcase the industry’s achievements to date and draw in new investors.
The CICC is an international and intergovernmental organization with its headquarters located in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. It was founded in 2016 with the goal of promoting, advocating, sharing knowledge, innovating, and offering forums for conversations on matters pertaining to the cashew value chain.
