Additionally, Angela reaffirmed MTN Ghana’s dedication to using data and AI to improve digital experiences, provide ease, and add value for clients.
Chief Information Officer Bernard Acquah stressed during his speech at the event how businesses must use AI to better their operations and learn more about their clients, competitors, and company data.
He stressed that AI should not be used to replace current infrastructure, but rather as a tool to improve human capabilities. Mr. Acquah proposed that people could concentrate on more creative and strategic work by assigning repetitive chores to AI.
“You can focus your energy and creative powers on what humans do, and you can give AI the repetitive tasks that you normally perform,” he said.
Mr. Acquah went on to talk about how human algorithms are developed and how biases could be ingrained in them. He underlined how crucial it is to continue researching and developing AI tools in order to get rid of biases and guarantee impartial and fair results.
