Ursula Owusu responds aggressively after being accused of being an LGBTQ+ advocate, “He is mad.”

Murtala Mohammed

Although Murtala didn’t speak into the microphone, Ursula claimed to have heard Murtala make an official remark.

She allegedly responded by calling Murtala insane.

After some time, Ursula pressed the Tamale Central MP for an apology.

Murtala, however, said that since he did not speak into the microphone, it was inappropriate to order him to leave.

He asked, “I said so many things, tell me which one I should retract.”

Murtala claimed he had withdrawn all utterances in order for there to be peace in the House after the second Deputy Speaker urged Cassiel Ato Forson, the Minority Leader, to persuade his colleague to do the same.

If Ursula Owusu’s remarks had offended Murtala, she also apologized.

However, the Constitutional, Legal, and Parliament Committee’s motion regarding the LGBTQ law has been endorsed by Parliament.

Minister of Local Government, Decentralization, and Rural Development Dan Botwe participated in the discussion and called the behavior of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender (LGBT) people “madness.”

It is a diabolical power, he claimed, and it shouldn’t be allowed to fester in the nation.
