A description of the killing of the young soldier Imoro Sherrif on March 4 has been released by the Ghana Police Service as some of the six suspects detained have started talking about the circumstances surrounding the heinous act.
Six suspects have been apprehended from their various hiding places, according to a statement issued by the law enforcement agency on Sunday, March 12. They will appear in court today, March 13, 2023.

After a week of persistent intelligence-driven operations, the Police have detained six people for questioning in connection with the alleged murder of soldier Imoro Sherrif at various times and locations in Ashiaman and its surroundings.
A male adult had been discovered lying dead in Ashiaman Taifa in the Greater Accra Region, according to information provided to police on March 4.
A group of policemen went to the specified place and verified the incident.
Authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances of the victim’s death right away. The police surrounded the area with a police crime scene team, who processed the site for forensic examination.
A backpack and a knife with blood smears were among the items the Crime Scene Team recovered. Authorities discovered a Samsung tablet, an Apple laptop, a military uniform with the name tag “Imoro,” eight additional pieces of clothes, a Ghana card, and a passport in the backpack.
