Additionally, by streamlining the membership accreditation procedure, the new alliance benefits marketers who wish to receive recognition from both CIM and CIMG.
When it is feasible, CIM and CIMG mutually recognize each other’s membership accreditation for a range of member grades.
Through the alignment of CIM and CIMG’s professional marketing credentials and the simplification of entry requirements and exemptions from professional marketing qualifications where appropriate, the relationship between CIM and CIMG will help the marketing profession in Ghana and the UK.
Additionally, this agreement will provide access to a greater range of networking, research, and career possibilities while acknowledging equivalency between CIM and CIMG membership grades (particular member grades only).
According to Chris Daly, CEO of CIM, “Our shared vision to advance the marketing profession for the benefit of individuals, businesses, and society at large is the foundation of our formal collaboration with the CIMG.”
