Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a flagbearer candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said that his mother passed away as a result of the threats made against him by the brother of a fellow politician.
He claimed that since he entered politics, his mother had been subjected to taunts and threats that she was unable to handle. He also claimed that she had begged him on numerous occasions to leave politics, but he had refused.
He claimed, “My mother passed away as a result of threats against me.”
“My mother couldn’t handle it when Hon. Collins Dauda’s brother threatened to kill me. She passed away on November 13th. The independent MP claimed that he was still struggling with his mother’s passing.
