Klamadaboe: The town where students risk their lives to learn in death-trap classrooms

 

The 10 desks are contested daily by the students.

Students who can’t go to school early enough to reserve a desk before class sessions may perch on their classmates or accept the inconvenience of sitting on the temporary seat, a pile of wooden boards.

Academic progress is not only halted at the sight of clouds due to the collapsing structure, part of which has already been torn off, but also when the student returns to class and finds their desks are wet and they have the arduous duty of emptying the water from their classroom.
