Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo claimed that because even motorbike riders now stop at traffic lights to obey traffic laws, law and order in Ghana are operating more effectively under his government.
According to him, the widely acknowledged improvement in law and order should be attributed to his government’s significant investment in the Ghana Police Service, the hiring of additional officers into the service, as well as the wind of change that is blowing under the leadership of Inspector-General of Police, Dr. Georged Akuffo Dampare.
