Due to his achievements in the music industry, musician Black Sherif has been named the Nachin Naa of Tamale by traditional leaders in the Northern Region.
The rapper was given the title, which translates to “Youth Chief,” while touring the area to promote his debut album, “The Villain I Never Was,” which was released on October 6.
A video of Black Sherif’s inauguration on Monday, October 10, 2022, shows him getting dressed in a lavish African smock called a “Batakari” and a matching headdress.
A select number of young people from the hamlet watched the ceremony in a special room.

The rapper’s 14-track album, meanwhile, has already topped charts and gotten favourable reviews from music fans.
He has also had a lot of support from well-known figures in the local music scene, notably Sarkodie, Ghana’s most accomplished rapper.
