At a recent burial, all attempts to get a monkey to leave the body of the man who had owned it as a pet before his death failed.
The incredible event is said to have occurred in Sri Lanka, when the man’s burial was held and his body was shown in an open coffin.
A report by pulselive.co.ke, citing TMZ, claims that the monkey arrived at the funeral home, peered into the casket, and then began to caress the body of the deceased owner while visibly overcome with grief.
The monkey’s movements suggested that it wished it could revive the man, but regrettably, they say that wishes are not horses.
The monkey reached over and seemed to kiss the man’s face at one point, then grabbed his arm and tried desperately to shake him to life.
