Near the village center, on nine acres of agricultural land, is where the development is proposed to be located.
Plans for a new housing estate could significantly increase the population of a small Norfolk village.
The development would create 45 new homes off Bunwell Road in Spooner Row, near Wymondham.
The village has a population of about 800 people, but the proposals made to South Norfolk Council say the development would be a “desirable place for family living”.
The plans will be considered by the council after being submitted in March.
Developers KCS want to build a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom houses on nine acres of land, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
