In order to break his impasse with the Nogokpo people, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah is asking Archbishop Charles Agyinasare to ask the president for assistance.
Agyinasare’s statement that Nogokpo is the “demonic” capital of the Volta Region has since sparked criticism and threats from the town’s priests and chiefs.
The traditional inhabitants of Nogokpo have invited the creator of Perez Chapel to appear before the town elders or face the consequences, notwithstanding Mr. Agyinasare’s apologies and clarification of his comment.
The local fetish priest has given him a 14-day ultimatum, which has stoked the matter further. Ajagurajah discusses the ongoing dispute and claims that the only way to end it amicably is to ask the nation’s leaders for their assistance.
“Since it has already occurred, no one should pass judgment. He is aware that there are powers in this planet. He ought to implore the presidency to lend a hand. He should appeal to the presidency so that a compromise can be reached. He should seek the government for assistance in finding a peaceful solution since he undoubtedly has connections there,” he said.
The founder of the Ajagurajah Movement said on United Showbiz that accepting the invitation would be a mistake since the ‘Man of God’ would be forced to participate in various rites that were incompatible with his Christian religion.
