The Ghanaian football team, Team Move FC, is situated in Takoradi in the Western Region and is owned by the Grammy-winning artist. There are third-division teams, U-12, U-13, and U-15 teams at the club.

Kofi Kinaata started out as a footballer but never reached the greatest level. As a way to give back to the game, he founded a football club in his hometown of Effiakuma.
