Drag singer La Voix, 43, launched an online appeal after her tour van was taken in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, holding £30,000 in costumes and equipment.
In an Instagram video posted yesterday, she promised to continue with her “next couple” of tour dates.
The influencer stated, “This is my livelihood, as well as the livelihoods of ten others who work with me on the tour and rely on it to pay their bills, including my band, which has had all of their instruments stolen.”
“Everything is gone, including all of my wonderful costumes which people had worked on for months to pull together, everything… to see it all gone is just unbelievable.”
She continued: “I’ve put so much love and work into this show and I can’t do it without my tools.”
After watching BGT with her family, a 21-year-old woman was discovered dead at the foot of her mother’s bed.
Surprisingly, the response to the post resulted in the discovery of the vehicle, which La Voix later publicized.
“I’ve just come off stage in Hereford to be told they found the van,” she explained. They discovered the van! Someone saw all of your fantastic posts.
