She confessed that she had a major crush on him and that she truly loved him with all of her heart.
She went on to say that Gyan may fill the need left by her late boyfriend Bob Santo, who died 21 years earlier.
She stated:
Santo can take his position as the man of my dreams… Things will be knocking against things when he dances on the field. He is very gifted, and every time he scores a goal, it makes me happy. He plays well, and I adore him.
I adore our Black Stars football players, she continued. I always pray for them, but Asamoah Gyan is someone I particularly care about. My heart gave this love to you. Every time I hear his name, my heart skips a beat.
