Ato Forson provides 7 explanations for Ghana’s economic crisis.

Folks,

Some of you may still be wondering how we ended up in this economic mess, I know!
Here are some of them:

  1. The NPP has the biggest government in Ghana’s history! Discover the number of ministers they have appointed since 2017. They once had more than 125 ministers!

  2. The Jubilee House is home to around 1000 presidential staffers who are compensated as article 71 office holders!

  3. They have also appointed a huge number of special aides to ministers, many of whom receive salaries comparable to that of deputy ministers at other MDAs.
    Don’t forget to consider:

  4. The amount of spokespersons at different MDAs who earn more than directors do!

  5. The number and salaries of CEOs at different State Owned Enterprises (SOEs)! Many of these SOEs now have three or four deputy CEOs with generous employment terms!

After being told by his fiancée that it was too little, a man utilises wedding money to move abroad.

  1. The results of almost 50 new organisations with no production, such as Ghana Cares, CODA, NADA, MBDA, free SHS secretariat, 1D1F secretariat, petroleum hub development authority, etc.

  2. The scandalous choice to assign more than 100 Databank employees to the finance minister as special assistants and pay them as customs commissioners on GRA’s payroll!

To be continued…
