Kwadwo Asamoah is a left-back.

Asamoah, who is listed as the left-back in this Dream Team, is the first member of Ghana’s 2010 team.

When the Black Stars advanced to the Round of 8, he was a rising star on the team and hadn’t yet started Juventus’ most fruitful season.

Asamoah, who was initially a creative midfielder, switched to the left side and helped Juventus reach two Champions League finals. Despite his career being hampered by injuries, he played on six Serie A championship teams.

El-Hadji Diouf is a midfielder.

Diouf, who was one of the stars of Senegal’s World Cup-winning team in 2002, is the sole member of this team from that group. He played a key role in the tournament’s opening loss of reigning champions France.

Despite early career accomplishments, Diouf, a two-time African Footballer of the Year, was unable to truly reach the pinnacles at Liverpool.
