When the President or the Finance Minister comes to address the house in Ghana’s parliament, there is always drama, and March 8, 2023 was no exception.
A group of prominent government officials and President Akufo-Addo were present at the house to deliver the State of the Nation Address.
He boasted about some of his government’s accomplishments during his speech and continued with more promises.
Speaker of the house, Alban Bagbin did his best to keep the MPs under control to avoid undue heckling of the President, but shortly after his presentation, some lawmakers could be heard chanting “Nana Addo eeii, all be lying oo”, in a bid to discredit the President’s message.
